The Commonwealth's Big Authority on little teeth

You may have heard about a recent Virginia Board of Dentistry motion adopted in the Spring of 2020 regarding provisions suggested for limits on pediatric sedation age ranges as well as treatment settings. The VAPD, AAPD and VDA heard your concerns regarding this motion and worked together to advocate on behalf of members and children in Virginia. The VAPD submitted a letter to the Virginia Board of Dentistry this week that outlines our concerns. The VDA has submitted a similar response as well. We are committed to advocating for policies, guidelines and programs that promote optimal oral health and oral health care for children.
